Investigating a campaign - Childline

The main message behind this campaign  is to stop child abuse of any form, they use ideas such as 'full stop' which is a green smiley face representing a full stop and the end of child abuse.
Obviosuly the target audience for this particular campaign would be children up to the age of about 17 but it also helps adults or other young children to report of any child abuse they know about
The main methods used to appeal to the target audience (children) is big bold writing, the idea of 'put a full stop to child abuse now' using the green smiley face and making there website and t.v adverts as child friendly/appealing as possible. I remember when someone dressed as a green smiley face used to bring in rulars and rubbers into primary school and told us about the charity and what it does.
This campaign is a very successfull campaign with lots of child abuse stopped each day. It's now national and so big that i even remember the number without needing to look for it,which is a very good thing in my eyes,if they can get children like me,that arnt even being abused,to remember something important about their charity
